Sounds simple, doesn't it? Marc Benioff, chairman and CEO of salesforce.com, tells how he took his company from a dream to a $2 billion company in just 12 years. His book Behind the Cloud underscores the importance of believing in your dream, articulating your dream, and getting others on board to achieve your dream.

He also shows us the importance of being flexible when things change. Yesterday's dream will likely morph into something different tomorrow. He captured his dream in a vision statement, which has changed four times since he first wrote it down on the back of a napkin in 1999.

At CAWOOD, we're inspired by clients who aren't afraid to dream and who believe in their dreams. They achieve so much, and we're delighted to partner with them on their marketing efforts. Whether it's Market of Choice's Food for the Way You Live, Willamette Valley Cancer Institute's Believe Institute, or Burley's Do More On Your Bike, all these clients are achieving their dream.

What are you dreaming of in 2012?

When we were children, we fervently believed that wishes could come true. Even if we didn’t believe in Santa, we knew that the presents under the tree on Christmas morning were real.

As we grow into adults, we find it harder to believe in possibilities. We have tasks to do, appointments to keep, and obligations to fulfill. We’re so busy that we don’t take time appreciate the goodness around us.

We hope you find time during this Holiday season to reflect on what’s good in your life and how it can be even better in 2012. Even in difficult times, there are always possibilities. If only we take the time to believe, they’ll become realities.

We shot this video last year, yet it still brings smiles to our faces. Happy Holidays from all of us to you!

The men in our office are growing Mos for Movember. The purpose: to raise funds and awareness for men's health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. Rumor has it that on the last day of the month, even some of the women will be sporting staches.

As a sponsor of the second annual Komen Eugene Race for the Cure, we thank everyone who helped make it a success. Through the collaboration of media partners, corporate sponsors, a dedicated committee, volunteers, survivors and their supporters, a pink sea of 6,000 participants met near Autzen Stadium on Oct. 23. The event has raised over $350,000 and you can continue to make donations online until Nov. 19.

Money raised by Eugene Race for the Cure stays locally to fund programs that support early detection and treatment assistance, such as the Oregon Breast and Cervical Cancer Program and the ACS-Komen transportation grant.

The meaning of the event is showcased through a heartfelt story on Oregon Live's blog. Differentiating it from other 5k races, the runner felt the support for those battling breast cancer and the unity of hope to end the disease.

Local media stations were integral in spreading awareness about the event. Here are stories from The Register-Guard, The Oregon Daily Emerald, KMTR NewsSource 16, KVAL CBS 13 and McKenzie River Broadcasting. Check out these photos by Seen Eugene.

We look forward to next year's event and another opportunity to help end breast cancer forever.

Allusions to the sky can be found throughout the newest student-housing complex east of the University of Oregon. The aptly named Skybox features a rooftop deck with panoramic sky views and hammocks, a garden roof and eco-roof open to internal views of the surrounding landscape, as well as an ample dose of flying duck graphics. Residents will also have a skybox view of Matthew Knight Arena. Check it out.

To promote businesses in this district, students who live in Skybox will receive a HomeCourt Advantage Card that will give them discounts of up to 30 percent at local businesses. The focus is on creating a great experience for residents, including discounts on haircuts, pizza, furniture, auto services and entertainment.
