Random, thoughtful comments found here. We're an eclectic group with a diverse set of interests and skills. We all share a love of all things marketing, so you'll always find something to challenge or inspire you. Enjoy!

When we were children, we fervently believed that wishes could come true. Even if we didn’t believe in Santa, we knew that the presents under the tree on Christmas morning were real.

As we grow into adults, we find it harder to believe in possibilities. We have tasks to do, appointments to keep, and obligations to fulfill. We’re so busy that we don’t take time appreciate the goodness around us.

We hope you find time during this Holiday season to reflect on what’s good in your life and how it can be even better in 2012. Even in difficult times, there are always possibilities. If only we take the time to believe, they’ll become realities.

We shot this video last year, yet it still brings smiles to our faces. Happy Holidays from all of us to you!

The men in our office are growing Mos for Movember. The purpose: to raise funds and awareness for men's health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. Rumor has it that on the last day of the month, even some of the women will be sporting staches.

Account Executive Mike Brown, who went to Las Vegas to interact with Twitter experts, enjoyed a packed day of learning how to measure the impact of initiatives, integrate Twitter with an overall marketing program, and generate bottom line results

We all enjoy nature and want to do what we can to protect it. So, when The Nature Conservancy calls, we usually say "yes."

On October 20, our firm received the 2011 Business Conservation Leadership Award at a luncheon at the Oregon Zoo. We helped create an "I believe in conservation" ad campaign, led a bond measure to buy more parks and open spaces in Eugene, prompted the Conservancy's board to get involved with Lane County to acquire the Willamette Confluence, and even let our president serve on the conservancy's board for nine years.

Liz Cawood (president), Cari Ingrassia (art director) and Melinda Dille (media director) traveled to Portland to receive the award. On the way up, they reminisced about working on the ad campaign with Gert Boyle, Dave Frohnmayer and other leading Oregonians. At CAWOOD, we live by the motto: There's no limit to the good you can do if you don't care who gets the credit. We agree that receiving recognition is pretty special, too.

We are humbled and honored to play a small part in helping to protect more than half a million acres of valleys, rivers, lakes, mountains, beaches, forests, grasslands and deserts in Oregon. We love living in here.

As a sponsor of the second annual Komen Eugene Race for the Cure, we thank everyone who helped make it a success. Through the collaboration of media partners, corporate sponsors, a dedicated committee, volunteers, survivors and their supporters, a pink sea of 6,000 participants met near Autzen Stadium on Oct. 23. The event has raised over $350,000 and you can continue to make donations online until Nov. 19.

Money raised by Eugene Race for the Cure stays locally to fund programs that support early detection and treatment assistance, such as the Oregon Breast and Cervical Cancer Program and the ACS-Komen transportation grant.

The meaning of the event is showcased through a heartfelt story on Oregon Live's blog. Differentiating it from other 5k races, the runner felt the support for those battling breast cancer and the unity of hope to end the disease.

Local media stations were integral in spreading awareness about the event. Here are stories from The Register-Guard, The Oregon Daily Emerald, KMTR NewsSource 16, KVAL CBS 13 and McKenzie River Broadcasting. Check out these photos by Seen Eugene.

We look forward to next year's event and another opportunity to help end breast cancer forever.
